Engagement manager for the Omnidocs New York office wanted

We are looking for an Engagement Manager to join our expanding team in NY and help grow our business as a certified implementation partner to Templafy.

An important part of our business is implementation partner to Templafy in this role will be crucial in expanding this business. Templafy is pioneering the content enablement category with a first-of-its-kind infrastructure that actively accelerates business performance with connected content. Templafy is a global organization with offices in six major business hubs such as New York, London, Copenhagen, and Sydney. Templafy supports over 2.8M users and enables over 600 enterprise customers like KPMG, IKEA, and BDO.

While the role is based in New York your remit will be global.

What’s the job about?

As Engagement Manager you will work in the crossing between sales teams, project managers, implementation consultants in Omnidocs AND with the commercial functions in Templafy.

The successful candidate will fulfill the role of a trusted advisor to both Templafy and their customers with a deep understanding of their solution and our complementary solutions. You will have the ability to understand a customer's needs, convey steps that customers can take to be successful, recommend best practices in deploying Templafy, and align the right services to ensure successful implementations.

You will partner closely with the Templafy sales team and support their deals through the alignment and positioning of our services. The Engagement Manager will be the conduit between sales, pre-sales consultants, and the customer, to ensure the downstream teams are prepared to support the services that are sold during the sales cycle. Furthermore, you will enable Templafy sales reps to be self-sufficient in selecting the right services for their deals.

The Engagement Manager will maintain effective relationships with Templafy, our own sales team, project leads, delivery teams, and leadership.


Most importantly you will develop strong relationships with Templafy, customers, Omnidocs sales and, delivery teams to ensure alignment to support the growth of both Templafy and Omnidocs through services selling. To do this you will;

  • quickly engage in a selling cycle, align to the sales team's account, and deal strategies and position the appropriate implementation services to support customer outcomes.
  • scope services, propose and recommend approaches to customers, and estimate work effort to develop a Statement of Work.
  • internally, work closely with both AE’s and AM’s in Omnidocs to identity opportunities for both new business and upsell.
  • provide knowledge and sales enablement on Omnidocs solutions and service capabilities to Templafy Commercial functions (AE’s, AM’s, CSM’s).
  • communicate technical concepts in business or technical terms.
  • Partner with delivery teams and Templafy customer success to ensure appropriate knowledge transfer is conducted once a deal is sold and to support the team when challenges arise.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level software consulting or services roles. This could be in sales, customer success, consultancy, or project management.
  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Ability to build trust and strong professional and personal relations with key stakeholders, sales, project managers, consultants and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate with sales internally and with Templafy to identify customer needs and define the appropriate services to support a deal.
  • Ability to scope and estimate projects.
  • A self-starter who initiates personal growth through independent learning of Omnidocs solutions and services.
  • Excellent team-building, verbal, and written communication skills as well as reporting and presentation expertise
